The Strata GPO Annual Conference, a key gathering for the foodservice equipment and supplies industry, once again brought together dealers, vendors, and manufacturers for several days of networking, education, and collaboration in San Diego.
Amid the energy of a busy ballroom exhibit floor, the Strata team introduced a thoughtful and impactful addition—a dedicated relaxation zone featuring NOOK Event Pods®.
Designed as a cozy, inviting space, this area gave attendees the opportunity to step away from the constant movement and noise of the show floor. Whether taking a quick break, having a quiet conversation, or simply resetting between meetings, the pods provided a much-needed balance to the high-energy environment.
This type of activation highlights an important and growing focus in event design: supporting attendee wellness and inclusivity. By creating a calm corner within the event, Strata acknowledged that not all attendees engage in the same way—and that providing quieter, more comfortable spaces benefits everyone.
